(English) The international organization “Shield” celebrated Eid al-Adha in Odessa

In the building of the Regional Council took place the International festival “Eid al-Adha in 2016 in Odessa” on 12 September 2016

The festival was organized by the International organization “Shield”, Charity Fund “Assalam” and the Committee for Nationalities and Religion Public OOGA Council.

The main participants of the festival were refugee children, orphans, disabled children from Odessa boarding school, children of mixed marriages and others.

With welcome speech opened the event the President of the International organization “Shield”, Head of the Committee for Nationalities and Religion OOGA Public Council, Professor Daher Saleh Muhamed. He wished all those present in the first place of the world, good health, happiness, prosperity and generosity.

On the  the festival were the honorable and distinguished guests: the city authorities, representatives of various diasporas and ethnic minorities, such as: Afghanistan, Chechnya, Syrian, African, Palestinian, Azerbaijani, Egyptian, Hindu, Iraq, Pakistan, Bulgaria, also there were the  poets, writers, representatives of TV channels and the media, and many others.

Have acted with congratulations and warm wishes: the  imam and  representative  of Odessa – Sheikh Ilyas Umarov, the head of the Public Council by the OODA – Maksimovic VJ, the  representative of the Department of Internal Policy of the City Council Mayborodyuk II, the representative of the Migration Service of Ukraine in Odessa region – Yusik ES, the representative of the national police in  Odessa region, Colonel-General of Southern operational Cossack District Solodskih V. N., the head of the legal Department of the International Congress on the protection of the rights and freedoms of citizens «Shield» – Alexander Georgievich Matyakin, the president of the Afghan diaspora in Ukraine – Abdul Bayan, the representative of the Syrian diaspora in Ukraine – Katravi Ali, the president of the new Arabic school in Odessa – Dr. Khaldoun Mohamedovich Zayada, the representative of the Palestinian diaspora in Ukraine – Walid Hossain, Dr. Sami Michael, director of “Granddent” clinic – Al-Mohammad Aref Ahmad and poet Anatoly Jani.

The children’s ensemble “Fadzhir” presented to the public their creative rooms in festive songs

After the official part for children was organized the entertainment program with animators. Each of the child received the gift.

Everyone, like children and adults were happy,  and  the smiles didn’t descend from their faces. In this holy Muslim holiday everyone become the one big, friendly family – the kids – were playing with each other, and the adults – talking to each other.

 During the event, all the guests were eating  various foods, sweets and juice. The International organization “Shield” thanks to everyone present at the «Eid al-Adha in Odessa».
