DAHER SALEH: THE HIGH MISSION OF PUBLIC DIPLOMACY

On November 16, 2016, a celebration was held in the building of the Odessa Regional Organization of the National Union of Journalists and Writers in honor of the All-Ukrainian festival “Day of Employees of Radio, Television, and Communication.” The event was marked by the inspiring motto: “We are working to make Ukraine a developed information state.”
The Chairman of the Odesa Regional Information NUJU, Yuriy Rabotin, delivered the opening speech, expressing his heartfelt gratitude to the employees in the fields of communication and informatization for their invaluable contributions to the development and prosperity of Ukrainian radio and television.
During the event, Professor Saleh Daher, President of the International Organization “Shield,” was recognized for his efforts in fostering international cooperation. On behalf of the International Competition named after de Richelieu Project “Save and Protect,” Professor Daher was awarded the prestigious Richelieu Diploma Award in the category of “Reading.”
In his acceptance speech, Saleh Daher extended his sincere appreciation to all Ukrainian broadcasting professionals for their high level of professionalism, their comprehensive and objective coverage of events, and their years of dedicated work in Ukraine’s information space.
Professor Daher reaffirmed the ongoing commitment of the International Organization “Shield” to promoting understanding and cooperation among nations. He emphasized the organization’s mission to support fair and unbiased media coverage worldwide, striving to strengthen relations between peoples and nations.
The celebration highlighted the vital role of media professionals in building a transparent and informed society, reinforcing the importance of collaboration and integrity in the global information landscape.
